What can you do with the scared boar in BG3? ›

Speak with Animals or an DC 10 Animal Handling check. Calming down the boar nets the player character some Approval from some of the party members. Alternatively, the boar can be killed for camping supply food items. Simply observing the boar will cause it to leave peacefully.

The Boar Tusk Talisman can be obtained from hunting and skinning the Legendary Boar.

You will find an Exanguinated Boar just before the bridge at (X:135, Y: 408). Whether this boar appears may depend on if you saved Astarion earlier or if he's in your party. Loot the boar and a cutscene will trigger if Astarion is in your party. He seems like he's in a hurry to leave this corpse behind.

The best Wizard subclass is the Evocation School, which enhances your cantrips and most of your damage-based spells as you level up. Most of Baldur's Gate 3's heaviest-hitting spells are of the Evocation variety, so it's worth focusing on this school to maximise your Wizard's damage potential.

The general shop has one once you upgrade it once. I also used backup realm saves to reset the shop stock and kept buying their only one. I've only collected 4 boar tusks in 60+ hours of gameplay. I believe after your 3rd or 2nd time doing a long rest in camp you'll see Astarion sneaking off into the woods. The pig doesn't despawn and is pretty hard to miss. When you see it interact with it and let the cut scene play out. With this condition met you'll be able to experience the bite scene after seeing the devil.
