  *About the grasses:
  Red fescue (Festuca rubra) is a fine-bladed grass with a deep green colour. It does not require much fertiliser and is tolerant of drought.
  Perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne) is a fine-textured, rich green grass. It has a high tolerance for cold temperatures.
  Browntop (Agrotis capillaris) is a fine-textured, bluish green grass. It is tolerant of low fertility soils and has a low growth habit requiring less mowing.

• Directions

  Play Video

  1. Rake out any thatch (dead grass) and leaves from your lawn.
  2. Shake the bag to loosen the product before opening the bag.
  3. Wearing gloves, apply the product by hand or via a reusable spreader.
  4. Walk at a slow and steady pace up and down the lawn. Walk approx. 10 m in 15 seconds. Do not shake the spreader side to side.
  5. Water in with 1 hour gentle sprinkler or moderate to heavy rain (approximately 5 mm).
  6. Avoid mowing for at least 14 days.

• Helpful tips

  For best results:

  • Apply as a top dressing in spring and autumn as part of your lawn maitenance programme.
  • Remove thatch from lawn before application.
  • For the most even coverage apply in two passes perpendicular to each other, e.g. apply on an east-west axis and then on a north-south axis.
  • Rake lightly after application to get seed to soil level.
  • Keep the lawn well-watered for 1-2 weeks after application to ensure germination.
  • Do not apply in freezing conditions or when frost is expected.
  • Do not apply when the lawn is heat stressed or in hot conditions above 30°C.
